The disease has been eradicated. How can I make a final report?
Proceed as for a follow-up report and indicate that the event is resolved when submitting it to the WOAH.
If some outbreaks remain open, you will not be able to declare the event resolved. In this case, click the button Close the outbreaks; this will lead you to the list of outbreaks with a default filter to display open (continuing) outbreaks only.
Click the pencil icon, on the right of every outbreak line, to open the individual outbreak and assign an end date (edit pale-yellow top-left-handed section within the outbreak page).
By default, the event end date is prepopulated with the latest end date for an outbreak, however, you can modify this date if necessary. This date must be as precise as possible, and it is important to keep in mind that this information will be automatically transferred to your six-monthly report and will impact on the presence or absence of the disease for the six-monthly reporting period.
Attention: if the disease re-appears, it will be necessary to process an immediate notification, which will give rise to an alert message.
