The disease has become sufficiently stable in a country/zone/compartment. How should I continue to notify it to the WOAH?
If the disease becomes sufficiently stable, i. e. endemic, the event is no longer exceptional. Notification has to be made through your six-monthly reports.
You first need to create a final report for the event. On the last page of the report, select "Yes, the event cannot be considered resolved but the situation is sufficiently stable. No more follow-up reports will be submitted. Information about this disease will be included in the next six-monthly reports." Submit your follow-up report, it will be considered as a final report for this epidemiological event.
By default, this disease will show as 'present in the country' or 'present but limited to ...' in the future six-monthly reports.
Please be aware that it is recommended to close all the outbreaks in an event that is closed as "stable" in order to prevent them from being transfered to the six-monthly reports as "on-going" while they are not.
